I’m Jonathan Patterson, a piano technician, musician, and educator based in Waco, TX.

My background combines over a decade of professional piano service, university-level training in piano technology, and advanced study in music theory and performance.

Gave new life to our older piano with great sentimental value. Wish I had done this sooner! We will have to keep up with regular service with these very reasonable rates! I had been told by someone else that it would take anywhere from $4000 to $9000 to repair my piano. Jonathan had some wonderful ideas on ways to repair the piano that did not involve replacing entire parts and cut the cost down significantly. He was very personable and clearly knew his trade well.  First, he tried a tune to listen to how the tones sounded and then he got to work with a very high-tech app and also traditional tuning instruments.  It took slightly over an hour to tune our baby grand and he played another song at the end.  And the sound was spectacular. My parrot was in his cage right next to the piano and I was worried he'd squawk or try to compete with the sounds by singing.  He did neither, he just sat it his cage completely mesmerized by the music he was hearing. When he left, he added my information into his system so I will get automatic reminders when it's time to tune again.  I highly recommend Jonathan M. Patterson for your piano tuning needs.

His expertise was evident as he corrected a long-standing issue with the 121 year old upright I have, and corrected a noise problem with my Baldwin grand.
